Amy Bright | Vivacious Vocals
Originally from suburban Detroit and formally trained as a classical vocalist, Amy started singing for live audiences at age nine. After college, she performed with several show groups, worked the cruise ship circuit, and later began fronting rock and pop bands. Upon moving to Chicago, the popular variety show band Park Avenue Orchestra hired Amy as their lead vocalist - a role she enjoyed fulfilling for nearly a decade.
Later, in Nashville, she sang with the traveling Infinity Show Band, harmonized as an original Radio Daze Big Band vocalist, and recorded studio vocals for several music producers.
In Florida, Amy has performed with the Sarasota Jazz Band, Naples Big Band, and Stardust Memories Big Band. In addition to DiscoMania Florida, Amy sings with the popular Marc Vee Band and leads worship with the Hope City Church Worship Team.
The DiscoMania Florida band project is Amy’s newest endeavor; she LOVES it; she hopes you love it as much as she does!
Larry Lebin | Groovy Guitar (+ Vocals)
Larry has been a veteran of Florida’s music and entertainment scene since the 1970s, touring, recording, and performing at concerts, festivals, nightclubs, country clubs, corporate events, cruise ships, private parties, and more.
He has been a featured performer, session player, sideman, band leader, and arranger for some of the nation’s and the area’s finest musicians and showbands, including Little Anthony and The Imperials, The Drifters, The Coasters, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, The Flamingos, The Friends of Distinction, and many others.
In addition to DiscoMania Florida,
Larry also manages and performs with Three Act Night, a 1970s tribute band playing covers by the Rascals, Three Dog Night, Bee Gees, Hall & Oates, and Huey Lewis, on Florida’s east coast.
Leo Mera | Burning Bass
Leo, originally from the Dominican Republic, is an incredibly versatile bass player with many years of experience — his funky bass style is ideal for disco!
Leo has been playing bass for over 25 years, playing everything from A to Z (literally from ABBA to ZZ Top!), representing all music styles, and performing at all types of venues.
In Leo’s words, “It’s all plain fun.” Before joining DiscoMania Florida, Leo played with the rock oldies band Top Shelf. He regularly subs with the popular music groups Robert Williamson Band and Jacob’s Ladder. Leo is also a founding band member of The Breakfast Club, a 1980s new wave tribute band.
John McCormick | Kicking Keys (+ Vocals)
John’s passion for music began at a young age, with early training in voice, piano, and dance shaping his confidence as a performer. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Music in voice with a minor in piano from Westminster College, continuing to grow through musical theatre, bands, and solo work.
He later spent time in the Florida Keys, entertaining at venues such as Little Palm Island and, as part of the Island Boys duo, at the Key West Hilton Resort and Marina. In addition to performing with DiscoMania Florida, John also serves on the praise team and as staff pianist at Crossroads Baptist Church and performs with the Journey tribute act “Open Arms of SWFL.”
Now rooted in Southwest Florida, John brings his versatility and seasoned musicianship to DiscoMania Florida, where his keyboard mastery helps define the band’s signature sound. With a knack for blending horn lines, string sections, and rhythmic textures, he delivers the rich, high-energy orchestration that fuels DiscoMania’s dance floor magic. Equal parts fun and finesse, John’s talent, instinct, and musical precision elevate every performance. We’re thrilled to have him on the kicking keys!
Glenn Dove | Driving Drums
Hailing from Queens, NY, Glenn brings over 50 years of drumming experience to the stage. With a career spanning iconic groups like Ram Jam (famous for the internationally acclaimed hit “Black Betty”), Speedway Blvd, and the music project The Rebekka Frame, which he founded, Glenn delivers a consistent groove with his tasteful style.
His extensive background, including numerous tours and countless hours of studio work, underpins a relentless rhythm, including a season of playing bass for Balance, Joan Jett, Michael Bolton, and Jordan Ruddess, who would go on to be an iconic member of the pioneering prog-metal act Dream Theater.
Glenn’s passion for music, refined over decades, fuels a dynamic performance that dares you not to move. DiscoMania Florida welcomes Glenn’s seasoned discipline, ensuring a driving beat that keeps the energy high.
